Partly auto-biographical, I guess. A dance number celebrating freneticism.

Recorded on a MacBookPro with a Yamaha travel guitar, an AKG C414 mike and Logic Pro X.

    Racing (Around the World)

I’m racing to the airport, running for the train
Competing for a taxi, adrenaline controls my brain
    A mighty multi-tasker, I crave complexity
To do list at the ready, don’t have a smart phone, I’ve got three

    I’m racing around the world
    I’m racing around the world
    I’m racing around the world
    Watch out, coming through.

I have no time for downtime, I’m always power on
A glimpse of passing flowers, they’re here and then … they’re gone
I measure out the madness, in meetings, mails and calls
It’s been this way for years, I got no time for trips … or falls.

    I’m racing around the world
    I’m racing around the world
    I’m racing around the world
    Watch out, I'm coming through.

Should I sit beneath a tree, and drift away
What's the point of racing racing racing, every day
People say let time slow right down, through plain inaction
I’ve thought about it, considered it and mulled it, there’s only one reaction: Racing!

I guess I’ll keep running, movement feels okay
    Let’s assume it’s progress, as I run ... away.
