I took the vocal sample from D-Xtreme opening the now an infamous "thanksgrooving" set at the Abyss back in 93. When that set was posted last week I knew I had to grab that vocal and throw it in a track. This is the result after messing with it for a couple hours this week. It's just for fun and ... - Giving Thanks To Breaks [Nov2009] Artwork

My latest progressive breaks excursion. Feelgood tunes start to finish. Been feeling inspired lately by all the old school mixes that kicked off my 20 year journey into the dance music sound. A live set by the legend Sasha at one of if not his first US venue. This is from the legendary Aahz night club (aka Beachem Theater) that was ground zero for the Orlando, Florida rave scene. This was during the early heights of the amazing scene. Enjoy. - Kaidan (Grade-E's Illogical Remix) Artwork

If u didn't figure it out already I'm not a big D&B fan, but this is fooking top notch regardless of genre. excellent.
-
@ablekid: Yeah...I was never a big dnb fan but its' grown on me over the years, especially the more progressive/trancey sounding genres like liquid. Thanks for listening.

In the spirit of some old school sets recently posted from Kimball Collins, I got this set from Chris Fortier last year and he said it was ok for me to post here. The set was recorded some years ago, and originally going to be a few volumes of a series for free giveaway, but as far as I know, th... - The Story Of Me - Chris Fortier pt 1 Artwork

-
@Cmoretrix: yeah totally agree.. rushed to get it posted .. but definitely could use some eq/mastering.

Another one of my melodic breaks outings. This song has a nice build and and overall "optimistic feel" to it. Takes a little bit to get there, but stick with it. :) I could do more with it but alas I'm out of time. Hope you enjoy. Please share your comments. not sure about this beginning section
-
@Jean-Anton: Which part? The ragga vocal or the lead synth line? If it's the vocal, I honestly probably wouldn't have liked it if I heard in a track that I didn't write.. but something about just resonated with me and it stuck. I like it. :)

Kind of trancey, dancey DnB track. I've never really made DnB before so this is just kind of an unfinished experiment.- Downtown Orlando Circa 1994 [DJ Grade-e] Artwork

Another old school set of some of the Orlando classics. Most tracks are from the 1993 to 1994 era. Ahh what a time it was.
