Goodbye Leopold Goodbye Leopold London Goodbye Leopold blend three ethereal voices, with choreography and a unique aesthetic. Their holistic approach to delivering music stimulates all the senses, creating transportive atmospheres. Their work is either self- composed or their original arrangements of songs from across the globe, creating a genre bending unique soundscape. Adopting abstract sounds and techniques and experimenting with singing backwards (yes in reverse!) allowing lyrics to be reduced to sounds, enabling the audience to think less and feel more. Goodbye Leopold have performed in art galleries, festivals, grimy rock and roll venues, to Classical, alternative and folk audiences and have also devised and performed the musical soundtrack to The Fishtales of Alaska at the Yard theatre, in London's Hackney Wick. They have worked with iD online magazine, collaborated with artist Julie Verhoeven and fashion brand Chloe, London based Electro band Is Tropical, and been broadcast on Radio 1, NTS radio and ressonance fm. They dream of travelling the world and being huge in Japan. a frozen, ethereal sound with their voices that recalls Liz Frazer at her most wild and worldly or Mountain Man at their glacial best. Time out I don’t know when I’ve been more blown away by a performance anywhere, and to see it here in the basement of a tiny Dalston nightclub felt like finding buried treasure. Do not miss them if you can help it.
