Good Life: In The Mix Volume 3 - Sweat & Low - Mr. McNeill

Boston's Good Life bar celebrated the first in a series of DJ mix releases in April of 2010,
recording a set at their lively 28 Kingston Street location. This month we bring you the third installment of this DJ mix series entitled Sweat & Low from DJ Mr. McNeill. He's part of Create Space Collab, the crew that brings their Sweet Shop party through our doors the second Saturday of each month. Here's what McNeill had to say about this mix: " I just tried to make it fun with a lot of energy and funk, just like Sweet Shop. My head has been in a really upbeat positive space when it comes to music over the last few months. I am not sure it's because Summer is basically here or maybe I am just getting back to what I played when I first got into house music.....the filtered disco stuff. To me dance music should be fun and most of all make you want to dance. I really think that comes through pretty blatantly on this mix. From start to finish there are tracks with recognizable samples and bouncy bass lines. All the tracks are dance floor tested and should be perfect for either a night at the club or a trip to the beach. On the mix you will find just over twenty tracks produced by the likes of Ghosts of Venice, Viceroy and up and coming local producer GMGN. I hope you enjoy, play it loud and give 'em hell." Enjoy!
