GonesTheDJ, a french producer and DJ who’s been digging the crates and mixing the finest music for people to dance since 1988. He soon started to share stage with the noteworthy greats of the Hip Hop & R&B french scene, including Alliance Ethnik, NTM & IAM and with internationals groups such as Buckshot LeFonque, The Roots, Das Efx, to name a few.
His notoriety made him a regular feature at celebrated music festivals such as Les Transmusicales de Rennes, Vienna Jazz Festival and Baden Hip-Hop Festival.
His inspiration come from many styles of black music, whether it is soul, funk or world music.
GonesTheDJ has always been able to synchronize his audiences to the beat of his favourite music.
Only connoisseurs like Gones are able to keep people’s excitement at the top making them discover the great recordings, the known, unknown or even the forgotten ones. His signature DJ sets are famous, especially in Paris. He played at many iconic places such as Le Palace, Les Bains Douches and Le Bataclan.
GonesTheDJ is now part of the few DJ’s who still mixes a classic scratch technique that reminds us of the importance of taste, passion and skills. He is currently resident DJ at Favela Chic (Paris), where he constantly sets the dancefloor on fire !
Gones chooses his music with upmost care, to give the quality people’s eardrums deserve. His talent has been so applauded in the fashion world making him the resident DJ at the Who’s Next fashion show. His work for the fashion community gave him the opportunity to become Louis Vuitton’s official DJ.
During his American exodus he mixed for the most exclusives after parties at the New York Fashion Week, and played at the Rivington Hotel Penthouse (105 Riv) for the “Été d’Amour” Event.
Gones was the resident DJ at the famous Sushi Samba 7 restaurant&bar every friday night, and on Summer ‘09 he hosted the Central Park Dance Skaters event.

Gones created Boogie Down, a party where people and music merge in an amazing party movement.
Boogie Down is one of the major events in Toulouse. The Boogie Down Movement is now ready to travel the world after making a blast in Stuttgart.
He has a radio show on Campus FM called GhettoBlasterShow and he is also working on new music as a producer for his label Soulitude Music.
