A little over a year ago we dropped a sublime Luv gem on you. The “Love HZ” debut of LA based producer GoldRush turned many heads with his own interpretation of what dubstep is or could be. GoldRush dropped dubstep with symphonic elements and added multi instrumentalism and complex melody layers to boot. These are awesome tracks that work on multiple layers of listening. The release got some great reviews and DJ support by dudes like: Starkey, +Verb, Liquid Stranger and David Starfire.

So GoldRush returns with his second EP for Generation Bass and this time he asked some of his and our friends to rework the cuts from his debut EP and they sure did. His style continues to stay away from the testosterone driven dubstep that’s getting all the big plays (and even Grammy's) now.

This is next level. The future!

Remixers like Gladkill, Stephan Jacobs and Sugarpill crystallize the melodic elements and add playful percussion and percussive elements to the original tracks to give them a new breath of fresh air. Richard Sweat adds a healthy dose of steady banging beats to the cut too, taking it back to the dancefloor. Most of these cats are fam to GoldRush, and are also a part of the Headtron Crew, some of today’s most progressive electronic music producers and cutting-edge visual artists in North America.

We are just ecstatic that we, at Generation Bass, get another chance to hand you a dose of new and refreshing electronic music by GoldRush, revised and re-imagined by forward thinking producers that defy the term and concept of dubstep.
