About
I believe one reason people disagree about what is good music is that they listen to it for different reasons and purposes. For me, listening to and making music isn’t primarily about clever wordplay or technical virtuosity. Currently it is usually about providing a certain kind of experience- one in which our selves are quieted down in the presence of something, of some phenomena, that feels large and strange, like some primal aspect of the universe, as if we’ve discovered these sounds and rhythms rather than created them. Or maybe it’s just kind of like feeling like your brain’s been microwaved a little bit.
Like art? s1lverf1sh designed the t-shirts and stuff for sale through my ReverbNation store (the "demons love trapezoids" hoodie is my favorite) and you can also buy s1lverf1sh art on prints, canvas, even mousepads & magnets & shit by following the deviantArt link.
