About
GLOBALGROOVE is an inter-media project based on samplings, on the evolution of the concept of collage, and on the contamination between genres. We recycle and mix images, text and sounds, drawn from the mass-media production, with original material in handmade cut-ups and digital reworking. Globalgroove functions as a data bank of interwoven information in a continuous perspective game based on accumulation and cross-breeding of styles.
Musically Globalgroove works with different procedures that often are connected with each other: sound collage, soundscape, audio installation, mash-up, remix and re-edit.
