GLENN FRANTZ BIOGRAPHY

Throughout his DJ sets and especially his outstanding productions and remixes, Glenn Frantz has become an A-list

household name in the Maltese dance music scene and is rapidly becoming recognized internationally.

Influenced from progressive artists such as Dave Seamen, Nick Warren, John Digweed & Sasha, Glenn Frantz started

his interest in electronic music back in 1998 at a tender age of just 15. His first DJ residency landed in 1999 playing

regularly at Malta’s foremost club; Axis, followed with guest gigs all over the island of Malta.

Just a year later he was noticed by one of Malta’s top DJ`s & Promoter JJoy, who presented him a vacancy to join Rype

Promotions were he played at their regular massive events between 2000 & 2005. In 5 years with Rype, which were his

initial years as a DJ, Glenn played alongside big name DJ`s such as James Zabiela, Sonique, Antoine Clamaran, Jan

Johnston, Jeff Mills, Tall Paul and many others.



Besides Rype, he was also discovered by Fresh Music Agency, Malta's Best Promoters and Management, which is

recognized as representing the finest talent within the house-tech-progressive-trance genre. Fresh provided him gigs at

big events which featured John Digweed, Sasha, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, David Guetta, Pete Tong and at the

notorious Creamfileds Malta festival.



The big momentum for Glenn Frantz commenced in early 2005 were he set up his own studio and is now considered a

true whizz in the art of producing dance music. His first Production ‘Final Round’ & ‘Borderline’ where signed to Dutch

label Fektive Records, followed by ‘Spacebar’ which topped Beatport charts for 3 consecutive weeks, it was heavily

supported by Armin Van Buuren, and even charting it as one of his best tunes for 2007 and also being featured on a

vast list of radio tack-listings and compilations.

Meanwhile remixing work was coming in at its utmost for 23 year old Glenn Frantz, where in just a few months he done

collaborations, projects and production work for Malta’s top music artists such as Joseph Armani, Olivia Lewis, DJ

Ruby, Corkscrew, Winter Moods and Miss Roberta all showcasing his exceptional trademark of top notch audio

production.



In early 2008 Glenn Frantz enforced his record deal with Fektive records and also joined venture with Malta’s legendary

DJ Ruby were now they share all their studio work which already paid off with releases of big dance-floor movers

‘Keychain’, ‘Keyring’, ‘Accident Prone’ and anthems ‘Living In the Dark’ & Cabrio which were releases under Ruby’s

name. Also of note the remixes Glenn & Ruby done for Squash 84`s Ski Or Die track, with Glenn’s version being

sustained by Hernan Cattaneo in his sets throughout Summer 2008.

Thanks to his talent as a producer, Glenn Frantz is now also enchanting his DJ`ing skills internationally; Czech Republic,

India, Russia and the UK already tasted his electronic flavor!

The present is looking bright for this superb DJ/Producer… A whole list of productions and remixes are already lined up

to be released soon, more gigs internationally and a secure residency with Malta’s top underground dance music

organizations Panoptic, Fundamental & Pure Promotions
