    Single: ‘Nerve’
    Release Date: 5th May 2014
    Label: Glassnote/Communion/Island Records

“Rhythms are complex and vocal harmonies are precision-cut… Their sound is beautiful and atmospheric…What a find.” – The Guardian
“A stellar record” – The Fly
“One of those ridiculously accomplished bands for whom making stirring, clever songs is a walk in the park…The potential to be massive” - Clash
“This is uncompromising music that will grow on you like ivy. In a nice way.” – Evening Standard
“A penchant for spaced-out electric guitar salvoes…An album of unerring quality…A ravishing debut” – The Sun
“the kind of harmonies that’d make Fleet Foxes drool…Montreal’s latest would-be superstars” – NME

Half Moon Run release their new single, ‘Nerve’ on the 5th May. It is taken from their critically acclaimed debut album, Dark Eyes.
The Montreal quintet will return to the UK this Summer for a series of festival appearances including a prestigious slot in support of Neil Young at London’s Hyde Park in July.
2013 was undoubtedly the breakthrough year for the Montreal band, Half Moon Run, concluding their British activity with a sold-out headline show at the Shepherds Bush Empire.
Nerve is one of the standout tracks on Dark Eyes, and it finds a Spring release to precede the band’s busy live Summer activity.
Instantly familiar, and yet sounding unlike anything else of the moment, this band’s music speaks for itself much stronger than words on a page could do justice to.
Half Moon Run are: Devon Portielje, Conner Molander, Dylan Phillips, and Isaac Symonds

    Half Moon Run Live:
    11th July – X & Y Festival, Liverpool
12th July – Hyde Park, London (w/ Neil Young)
20th July – Somersault Festival, Devon (w/ Ben Howard)
