For a few months, I've been compiling tunes to help you settle down in a cozy chair and get down to the more focus-demanding activities of life: study, writing, reading, coding, brainstorming. Minimal vocals (which I sometimes find distracting), lots of piano, minor keys, but enough groove to keep your head nodding- something like I imagine all the Monday Morning, brunch-serving clubs in Berlin would be playing to massage the weary ears of marathon clubbers.

May it accompany you on your productive journeys.

As I'm often drawn to undanceable music that I rarely get to play on the dancefloor, I plan to make this a theme in an ongoing series of home-recorded mixes.

This was recorded at home live in one take, with a couple of editing flourishes in Ableton afterward.

The vibe is heavily indebted to both Lee Burridge's wonderful Some Day I Dream label, and the splendidly droney podcast, Music for Programming. Do track them down.

Massive credit goes to all the artists. Working up a detailed playlist, which will be up shortly.
