About
GineeK originally comes from Belchatow, a royal basin lignite in Poland.
Since early youth music has been surrounding him, thanks mainly to his father, an amateur musician who used to play on various instruments. At the age of six Kamille often drew on the accordion and harmonica. Even as a little boy he tried to make some tunes on computer programs like "Music Maker" or Fruity Loops. At age 14 he set up with some friends a school radio called “RadioActive”, which organized many raves inside the school, as well as opened ones that were able to attract up to 400 participants!
At that times in his head there was only one thought which was raves and hardcore. The sentiment has remained with him until nowadays. On one of the events Ginee K met Mc Jabba D, with who he later worked closely on the drum'n'bass scene.
At age 17, under the pseudonym GEELOU, he played regularly on Sunday news programs at the local Radio Station. The gossip about these shows spread in Belchatow among people interested in music, "different" than disco. After some time in the circle of music, rave, jungle, dnb, hardcore, together with friends Acid, Hypnotic, Jabba D he managed to set up a collective called Temple of Noise. This group during few months of its activity organized many memorable events in Belchatow and Piotrkow.
In year 2000, Ginee K moved to Warsaw. After several months of acclimatization he met DJ MłodyJr, which he began cooperation under the banner of their group T.O.N. After several years the project stopped existing. Kamille began playing solo and he started to be approved and respected DJ by ravers and even dinosaurs of dnb scene in Warsaw. Together with Simba, he made a few tunes, which for many months, warmed up dance floors in both local and foreign clubs. Ginee K is a member of the Warsaw collective Tensionkru. Last three years he spent in London where he was one of the residents of a club / bar, The Exhibit (www.theexhibit.co.uk) in south-west London, as well as promoter of an ambitious club music in its Wednesday's shows, at Anglo-Polish Radio “Orla” (www.orla. fm).
He has recently returned to Poland and he is aiming to promote the local scene by organizing events in new places. Together with friends he formed a group called Fire Fighters (www.facebook.com/firefighterspl) which is promoting the modern approach to mixing music by using controllers, music programs and creating a kind of live-acts.
Its characteristic amazing charisma and choice of repertoire is not even the most fastidious person will remain in the chair. No one hides that he is one of the best technically playing DJs in Poland. He played at some of the biggest drum and bass events in Poland. This year he has been supporting and playing before such well-known artists like Pendulum, Dirtyphonics, Netsky, Camo & Krooked, Cyantific...
