About

Get Help is a veritable supergroup of unknown musicians, formed in 2006 by New York musicians Tony Skalicky and Mike Ingenthron. Influences include REM, Guided by Voices, Yo La Tengo, refrigerator compressors and early-morning garbage trucks. Formed initially as an exchange of ideas over email, Get Help has blossomed into a full-fledged live act with a critically-acclaimed studio album, The End of the New Country. Get Help's music has also been featured on National Public Radio, PBS Television, and ESPN. They are currently working on their second full-length album, to be released on Midriff Records in 2011.
