George Rimore is certainly part of the massive scene that is Toronto electronic music. However, he has the rare ability to stand out in the commodity of EDM artists in this Canadian city. With his courage to delve into a variety of genres, and his relentlessness to search for the best way to get dancefloors intently grooving, Rimore has transcended many musical norms. Some of the genres he has experimented with include techno, tech house, deep house, trance, progressive and breaks. His tastes are always evolving, which is why you are unlikely to ever hear a stagnant set in his presence.
Rimore started DJing in his teens and since his relocation to Toronto, his DJ career has flourished. You may have seen Rimore play at Jun Jun Bar, Augusta House, Bunda Lounge, Our House, TOTA Lounge, Lily Lounge, and the afterhours dungeon simply referred to as Rainbow Palace. George has been fortunate enough to share the decks with Alicia Hush, Luke Hess, Greg Gow, and Ian O'Donovan, to name a few. Notably, in the summer of 2012, Rimore snagged a coveted booking at the notorious Belgian festival, Tomorrowland, playing alongside many Trance heavyweights.
Rimore has also garnered a massive internet presence due to his monthly residency on the podcast Heaven's Trance, hosted on FNOOB.COM. Additionally, he has had two guest mixes for MSZ's Transients, hosted on PURE.FM. His sets (whether live or recorded) always take the listener on a journey; whether it be through the clouds, down a dark tunnel or through space.
