Gennaro Mastrantonio is from the southern Italian city of Termoli. At the tender age of 11 he entered the world of music by starting to play the transverse flute. For years, he continued to play it not only alone but also as a part of a orchestra.

A few years down the line, he discovered his passion for Techno music, after attending his first electronic music party. At the age of 18, he decided to move to Milan and attend the School of Audio Engineering (SAE Institute) to learn the more technical part of this profession.

Influenced by the Techno movement, in 2006 he began to produce music himself, and very quickly achieving international recognition. He released his first vinyl in 2008 with the German Label Eminor Records. He immediately had an impact on international sales and charts, thanks to a sound already defined by impressive and innovative rhythmic grooves, ranging between the hypnotic and underground sounds.

Gennaro began his DJ career in Milan at some of the city’s most exclusive clubs and events. In 2008, he played at the Italo Business Festival in Italy and from where, he went on a mini world tour playing in Hamburg (Germany) at ‘Waagenbau Club’, Varna (Bulgaria) at ‘Masai Club’, Mexico City (Mexico) at ‘Rioma Club’, Puebla (Mexico) at ‘Fonica Club’ and Medellin (Colombia) at ‘Forum and Carnival Clubs'.

2009 set many land marks for Gennaro. After collaborating with an american guy named Billy Johnston, which gave his work a new fresh influence. The collaboration started with a release for Sleaze Records label with the track ''Space''. That release enjoyed a huge success especially the remixes made by Gary Beck and Elon!

Many of Gennaro’s productions have climbed high in the most important charts of the world’s major music distributors. In addition, he has earned a place in the TOP TENs of renowned DJs like Claude VonStroke, Tony Rohr, Umek, John Acquaviva, Richie Hawtin, Pan-Pot, Sian, Perc and many others.
In 2010 he made a remix for the track ‘’DotBomb’’ by John Acquaviva & Ramon Zenker, for the Miami Compilation for the German label BluFin, it climbed to the Top Ten sellers of majors distributors, then it has been used for various CD’s Compilation of Ibiza Clubs.

In 2010 and 2011, Gennaro went to the US to play for the Winter Music Conference in Miami (FL), and on some of the city’s most famous clubs,also for the showcase of the labels Sleaze Records, Perc Trax and BluFin. A few month's later, he flew to Mexico City to for the ‘Pleyades Festival’.

Gennaro began working with and for Apparel Music, a highly respected international label, created to provide an outlet for various styles. Thanks Apparel, Gennaro entered into the world of the House, Deep and Tech. For 'Apparel Music' he work's on the final mastering of the tracks for the digital release's and he is also in charge of the management for the sub-label Apparel Music Limited.
He recently played in London (UK) for the Apparel Music showcase at ‘Russian Bar’ and at other warehouse party's.

In 2011 Billy Johnston and Gennaro began working for one of the most important label's of the House scene, the Defected Records (ITH), they worked together on a remix of the track ‘God Made Me Phunky’ by ‘MD X-Spress’’, it was released for the occasion of the WMC 2011 on the compilation ‘Defected Miami Weapons’.

Also, in 2011 Gennaro played in Arnhem (Netherlands) at ‘Luxor Live Club’, in Berlin (Germany) at ‘Arena Club’ and ‘Maria Peligro’ and in Seoul (South Korea) at Club Ellui.

Gennaro & Billy released an EP for Octopus Records (Sian’s label) under the name ‘The Villains’.

Gennaro has under his belt a huge number of collaborations with some of the biggest labels in the world, including Apparel Music, Defected Records, BluFin, 1605, Sleaze Records (Uk), Octopus Rec, Black Nation, Italo Business, Eminor, Der Hut, MyLittleDog, Perc Trax, Suara, Mystika and Sk Supreme.

Gennaro's music has been supported by Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Adam Beyer, Villalobos, Loco Dice, Kisk, Matt Star, Gunnar Stiller, Tony Rohr, Radio Slave, Slam, John Acquaviva, Pan Pot, Marko Nastic, Sis, Sian, Claude VonStroke, Phil Kieran, Namito, Dustin Zhan, Gery Beck, Chris Liebing and many more.
