Biography

Originally from Halmstad (Sweden), Geff Borg is above all impassioned by the Black metal scene from his country. It was a little after his band Algarth broke up, contining in Sweden with provocative guerrilla live shows, that he started to get interested in electronic musique.

After having experimented with different styles under various pseudos, Geff Borg found refuge in Lyon, France. There he composed many pieces of music, both long and short, for émissions and publicity spots*; all while continuing his personal productions, heavily influenced by the styles of Dirty House, French Touch et Dubstep.

Very quickly picked up by the label Astrofonik Records, his single Tropical appeared on the compliation album Sextoy Records 4. This lead to a collaboration with Karl Phaxto create «*The Krew Stab It*!*» Then after several live performances, their album «*No Beat But The Thing*», was also released under Sextoy Records.

Many times praised for his remixes, notably by Christine, Sawgood, A Girl & A Gun and Apple Jelly, Geff Borg continues today his solo carreer in conjunction with his other projects, like most recently his collaboration with Hedvre Lord Vakuum of/for Super Killerz Dancefloor Lover. His desire to satisfy his fans from the get-go never wavers as he stays true to his own motto*:

Biographie :

Originaire de la ville de Halmstad (Suède), Geff Borg est avant tout un passionné de la scène Black Metal de son pays. C'est peu de temps après la séparation de son groupe Algarth, connu en Suède pour ses lives Show décalés et provocateurs, qu'il commence à s'intéresser à la musique électronique.

Après avoir expérimenté différents styles sous divers pseudonymes, Geff Borg s’exile en France, dans la ville de Lyon. Il y compose plusieurs morceaux pour des courts, des longs métrages, des émissions et des spots publicitaires, tout en continuant ses productions personnelles, très influencées par les styles Dirty House, French Touch et Dubstep.

Très vite repéré par le label Astrofonik Records, son titre Tropical apparaît sur la compilation Sextoy Records 4. Il collabore ensuite avec Karl Phax avec lequel il créait The Krew Stab It ! Après plusieurs lives, leur album No Beat But The Thing, est également édité chez Sextoy Records.

Plusieurs fois félicité pour ses remixes, notamment par Christine, Sawgood, A Girl & A Gun ou encore Apple Jelly, Geff Borg continu aujourd'hui sa carrière solo en parallèle avec ses autres projets, notamment sa récente collaboration avec Hedvre Lord Vakuum au sein des Super Killerz Dancefloor Lover. Son désir de satisfaire les fans de la première heure reste intact et il reste fidèle à la devise qui lui est propre :
