Gee funk like many others has grown up on a diet of commercial pop music, Soul RnB, Hip Hop and various types of Dance music Garage and jungle to name a couple. Essentially he is captivated by anything which has rhythm and has the ability to make your head nod. 

Over the years he has witnessed numerous genres  being birthed and has experienced the atmosphere created by some of these genres 1st  hand at some of the venues locally which have hosted some of the worlds most talented artists known to man, such as Danny Rampling, M.A.W, Lisa Millet, 4 Hero, Mary J, Martin Larner, D.j, E.z,  Mickey Finn and Groove Rider. These artists have allowed him to witness the awsome power of music and its ability to transcend barriers of all kinds, without exception. This has left him amazed and bewildered at times as u will be aware music sometimes does.

From being introduced to his first audio cassette player and tapes at the age of six G-funks passion 4 music has continued to grow leading him to uncover a wealth of different musical varieties and genres including those mentioned above, this has also lead him to attend some of the greatest parties throughout the early to late 90's and also throughout the beginning of the decade, these parties were hosted by promoters such as Ministry of Sound, Awol, Pandemonium, Amazon, Quest, Hysteria, Miss Money Pennies, Fuel, The Hush, Garage Nation, Twice as Nice, Babooshka among others.

It wasnt untill 2002 when G-funk first decided to add his own creative input into the industry that he first took to the decks discovering a Raw Passion and Talent for the art form. Since then he has Played at some of the Biggest parties in and around the Birmingham and West Midlands region, at locations such as Miss Money Pennies (Birmingham), Bobby Browns (Birmingham), City Bar (Wolvehampton), Club Silk @ Club Air (Birmingham), and has also held Residencies for Soul In Da House (Dragon Eye Birmingham), Hillbilles (Oldbury) and also (The White Swan Smethwick). G-funk has steadily progressed throughout the years building up a stunning collection of top quality Soulful, Funky Beats this has lead him to be received with Love wherever he plays, His warm personality and humble attitude towards his listners only serves to further enhance the relaxed party atmosphere which he is so well known for creating. His unique style and blend of soulful Sexy Chunky Electronic beats has been an inspiration to many who hear him play and will no doubt contiue to be in the future, as Funky House an Garage continues to gain momentum both locally and further afield u can be sure this is an artist u will be hearing more from in the future.
