He then recorded his own songs digitally using his laptop in 2007. He began performing in the local music scene of Kuching, Sarawak in 2007 as the keyboardist to some local indie bands like 'Lateral Faction' & 'Solemn'. He had also formed his own project band known as 'The 14th Project' in 2008 and released a demo with singles like ‘Goodbye to You’ and ‘Kesempurnaan Cinta’. Recorded within his own bedroom, the band changed their genre from electronic rock to electronics in 2010 until he decided to go solo project after the band broke up.
