**G** aka DJ Garett E! (House Defenders-Los Angeles)

**G** is originally from Vancouver B.C., Canada. In the mid nineties, he became actively involved in the underground Rave movement in the Northwest. He coordinated and promoted everything from small underground house gatherings to massive 5,000 person warehouse raves in both Vancouver and Seattle. In 2001, when the Costa Rican electronic music scene was in its infancy, **G** aka DJ Garett E arrived in San jose with his crate of vinyl. Old School San Jose Househeads reminisce of his high energy sets at the Legendary "Cafe Loft". After a 8 year stint, frequenting the decks at Genial Lubnon (CR's longest running electronic music club night) , Vertigo (central America's premier Venue), and many of the regions most influential dance clubs, **G** packed up and made L.A. California his new home base. He has spent the past 2 years traveling and exposing himself to new sounds and dance floor trends around the world. Today, 15 years into his professional DJ career, he is likely to play House, Electro, Techno, moombahton and dubstep often stitching them together with some well placed scratching and turntable/effects manipulation. His Dj performance boasts an eclectic barrage of beats, bass and funk, cleverly adorned with latin percussions, vocals, blips, rising washes and explosive drops.
