Let You Down (frame)

Definitions for the Future Love Hangover:

- FUTURE LOVE HANGOVER - 1. We live in the future, it's all about love and everybody has a hangover, 2. When your heart is broken from a love you haven't had yet, 3. Life.

- EXPOSURE - 1. A Web based portal with only artistic merit, featuring no selling or information, only content, 2. The portal is interactive but controls your navigation of the content, 3. Must incorporate a body of recorded sound, 4.More content is revealed over time.

- FRAME – 1. A section of an exposure extracted for mass consumption and/or sale.

Faced with the rapidly changing music industry I spent the last few months conceptualising a format for release that could bring new relevance to my latest body of work and the art form we currently call the album. Focusing on creating a format that elevated music back to a level of fine art and away from the mass production aesthetic of mainstream and (increasingly) independent music.

Before you now is the first frame, Let You Down, of my debut exposure, Ecstatic Yours Truly, set for release through iTunes on Tuesday 3rd July and launched on Saturday 7th July in Sydney at Since I Left You. The frame will be completed with the release of an accompanying short film in the coming weeks.
