Acid lover Futuregrapher comes from the heart of Reykjavík. Loaded with his laptop, countless of effects and his drum machine, he creates a vibe that has no bondaries. Árni Grétar, the man behind the creation, started making music when he was 13 years old. He played a big part in creating the ReBirth (propellerhead's software) community online along with his friends from all over the world. One of his songs from the early internet days, '303 Melody Flow', is considered to be a cult classic among other ReBirth users. Later Árni started using Reason and bought himself analog equipments and started to make music for his ears only. Árni was also a key member in a band called Equal, from 1997 - 2007. Equal released one album 'Audio Love' in 2003 and had a small fan base. In 2007 he started the group Tabúkka with his fellow Equal partner Jónas Snæbjörnsson and their friend Þorvaldur Thoroddsen. The group played progressive house music and got the singer Elísabet Eyþórsdóttir to join them. Tabúkka released their first single on Arctic Wave records and the band played numerous of gigs in Reykjavík. Árni left the band in 2009, along with the singer, and got back to his roots and started working on his project Futuregrapher. Today he plays a big part in the Icelandic Weirdcore scene, thanks to Biogen, and is working on his first album, 'Projecting the State of How I live'. More information can be found at his myspace page.
