I present to you with gratitude the 2013 Summer Tasty Treat Mix. As you listen to this, I invite you to cast off your preconceptions of what music is, what you think it should be, or what you think that I think it is. Its vibration. An empty vessel for your current needs. Attach whatever meaning you want to it. Let it heal you if thats what you need. Let it frustrate you if thats what you need. Let it take you on a mental journey to a distant land filled with omnivorous proto-aardvark cyborgs with diamond encrusted tonsils and kaleidoscopic electro-jets if thats what you need. Take what you need from it and nothing more. All I ask is that you share it with someone who might appreciate it.

I also invite you to listen to this mix on the best possible sound system or headphones you have available - theres alot of layers and its worth it to hear it as its supposed to be heard.

If your listening to this mix, chances are that you understand something about the nature of the world that I understand too. Whatever that is, music is the way I express it. I don't make an exceptional amount of money doing this. In fact I hardly make enough to pay my rent.

But with that in mind I'm not asking you for any money. I'm asking you to share this mix instead.

    Abundance is already here.

In current real-life music industry land, Facebook likes and soundcloud followers are currency. This is not a value judgement, but a statement of facts. Artists get booked and their pay is determined largely by how many people know about them. Promoters (the people who pay me) see online presence as a very large determining factor in booking. The music people make often determines very little about how much money they make. Its how many people know about them, and how many people will come to their show. Regardless of if you agree with this or not, you can help artists you like get paid more and booked more by spreading their music and helping them increase their online presence with almost no effort. This applies to everyone, not just me. Remember that your clicks matter. This a user driven industry now and you have the power to shape it.

I'm not complaining with this message. I'm just letting you know about how I and other artists actually make money so that you can help direct the flow of energy if you desire.

    Abundance is already here.

So, yes, here I am. I am asking for your help. If you find resonance with or value in this music, repost this from your Facebook or soundcloud page. Put it on a music sharing page or blast it at a party. Send this mix to your grandma or your buddy who writes for a music blog. Let them know that if they dig it, the most effective thing they can do is like my pages(and subscribe!! please hit the subscribe button on FB too so you can actually see my posts)

Money is nice, but if you are inclined to support this music, sharing it is the way to go.

Abundance is already here. Lets tap in together.
