I was honoured to be asked to write some music for the opening of the Sydney International Animation Festival at UTS earlier in October 2012. I wrote this piece with the express intention that it could be performed live, and played it at the opening as a live soundtrack to a delightful animation of the SIAF logo by the 1st year UTS Animation students.
It's purely cello and loop pedal, all layers played & recorded live in one take.

@Hairbrain: Ha, thanks! That'd be interesting. Love their work. This is all just live-looped cello, but a different arrangement might find its way into my own string quartet's repertoire...

Good lord. 'Naps for the belted' was like 2000 of so. a terrible mix as i recall.
