Achilles Ganshof AKA Frixos Achilles Liverios, was born on the 29th of May 1987 in Athens, Greece.He was in the mood of good and quailty music from a very early age. He entered the world of electronic music from the age of 8 years old when he did have his first synth keys. After that, everything was on its way. That he liked most at his synth was the fact that with only one musical instrument could produce thousands of different sounds! After school, Achilles tried to involve himself at a very interesting trip to the world of Techno music and it’s sub-genres. Every electronic music gig intrigued him but Techno music was like heaven to his ears. After A LOT of hours listening to electronic music and especially Tech, Techno and Minimal sounds, he decided to learn the secrets of djing and producing. At the age of 18, he took lessons at the djing and producing courses of SAE Athens. After that, he did have everything he need to go on at the magic world of Electronic Music Scene. Until now he did play in various “underground” clubs of Athens but not only there. His aim for the future is to travel around the world and play his sounds whenever are welcome. At the production part now,he already has remixes for his tracks from various artists and he looks forward to get involved with some great European and Worldwide Labels and Artists in the future. His influences from djs and producers a lot. Indicative, Richie hawtin, Sven Vath, Solee, Piatto, Marc Romboy, Spektre, Ahmet Sendil, Angy Kore, Dandi & Ugo, Extrawelt, Kollektiv Turmstrassem, Marco Bailey are some of them but the list is long and the possibility to offense someone really big. Marco Bailey said at his bio that he does not like to think in boxes, but more outside the box. Although he has an expansive taste in music, techno keeps intriguing him. Despite techno growing into a bigger genre with its sub-styles in minimal, tech house and hard techno, he still discovers fascinating records in every style. This is the reason his sound is so diverse and surprising. Achilles feels exactly the same. He thinks that a dj has to be open-minded at this music choices. Achilles loves techno music but that doesn’t mean that you will listen only techno sounds at his sets. As told before, Techno music is endless and together with it’s sub – genres grows extremely big. Achilles Ganshof has a certain aim for the future: to produce and play more and more and more electronic music and who knows? Impossible is nothing ;)
