Friends Records' 2011 compilation comes with thirty new songs from our friends in Baltimore. Nearly two hours of exclusive new sounds will be made available Thanksgiving day and offered as a limited double-cassette package or to be downloaded digitally for free.

The track list of this annual affair boasts a hefty supply of perennial Baltimore heroes, with new work from Celebration's own Night Worm Studios, an unreleased Future Islands song recorded for KEXP, a recently recorded Dan Deacon track, the debut of Jenn Wasner's (Wye Oak) Flock of Dimes, new explorations by Jason Urick (WZT Hearts), a stark reminder of the return of Oxes, a lost gem from Dustin Wong and Molly Siegel of the now-disbanded Ponytail, an exclusive new-anything vibe from Matt Papich's (Ecstatic Sunshine) Co La, and more.

It also sports a wide-eyed view at Baltimore's up and coming crop, with a peak at the next Weekends record, an Arthur Russell cover by Soft Cat, fresh digs from Holy Ghost Party (two-thirds of Dope Body), a hearty dose of sugar by Will Pesta's (Happy Family) Inflatable Mattress, some exclusive hard-nosed tomfoolery from Witch Hat, and a lot more.
