FRESH ROOTS RADIO is a weekly broadcast hosted by David Solid Gould presenting rare and classic Jamaican recorded music mostly from the early 1960s - 1980s and some modern tracks as well- now on Reggae Explosions- broadcasting online at http://www.WICB.org/listenlive.php and on 91.7 FM -Ithaca, NY- Thursdays from 10am-12pm EST. David Solid Gould is a musician and producer as well as a DJ. He performed as bass player for John Brown's Body between 1997-2002 and can be heard on the albums This Day and Spirits All Around Us. Since his JBB days David has released four albums of his own. He has been broadcasting Fresh Roots Radio since April of 2008.
