@Ron K: Nah , no prbs mate . Go hard. All music is subjective and any criticism should just make us try harder. I appreciate you taking the time to listen bro . Big Ups!

what I was trying to say, I suppose, is that instead of it being " a moombahton track from freqnasty" and more like "freQnasty playing in the style of moombahton", know what I mean? It's always been like that with your music; your sound is distinct, and in a good way.
As for the rest- I was all like "I'm gonna give you HELPFUL comments" then proceeded to say nothing really helpful at all... except that the track grew on me a bit since before and I really type too fast for my own good :) good job, and ah- freq up the good work! Thanks for the comments guys and gals. I was trying to do something a bit different, and 1000 Buddhas seems to bang on the dancefloor. I think good Producers should be looking for new sounds to illicit a dance floor response, so the pallette is more Detroit Electro here than dubstep. More Crunkstep than Dubstep... and hopefully more 2012 than 2011 :).
Thanks for all your energy and support! More to come!! - DimethylDan

all in all, I get the feeling this track was put together pretty quickly, but maybe that's just its "loose" sound... and I do like the main "hook" or whatever you wanna call it- where it's all "swelly" sounding, like it's sidechained or ducked or whatever.... actually the track's kinda growing on me the more I listen to it.... maybe it gets an 85-90% now ;)

and I like this little 80's 808 tom hit thingy you keep doing...

Like it's tight here where you drop the beat, but the handclap feels like it REALLY wants to be a fatter sounding snare or something...

I love that quick trancy-ish type synth that's right here- as for the track as a whole... I give it about an 75-80 out of 100... now don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on it I'm just trying to give some real feedback that might be useful to you moreso than "your track's so FAT freQNasty, can I lick your balls?" (Though that's probably what I would have said if they'd had soundcloud when boomin back at cha came out...) Having said that, here's my actual (hopefully) useful observations/critiques: First- and foremost- i might personally give this track a 75-80% compared to your other stuff but at least it's DIFFERENT- you get mad props for the fact that you apparently avoid cookie cutters like the plague because every one of your tracks manages to sound DISTINCT, like you're leading, not following, know what I'm saying? Anyways, the track feels like you banged it out in like a day or two and were like, "done!", but I could totally be wrong. Might I ask what you're making tracks with/in these days?
