this song has a bit of an 'Apocalypse Now' vibe . . . visions of Martin Sheen completing his final errand . . .

This is such an amazing interpretation of an equally classic track..I thought you would be hard pressed to top the Black Sabbath edit but this comes close! Interestingly though David Crosby wrote this track, it was actually Jefferson Airplane who recorded the first version as it was deemed a little too risque for The Byrds to sing about non-monogamy and three-way action so they handed it over to Grace Slick...I thought for years it was a Grace Slick track! I did hear an edit of this version way back in 2004 by the UK artists Three Blind Mice on 7 inch on the Topanga Canyon label (great name for a record label!) which was pretty good but this track brings out the groove a little more and is just constructed better. So where can we get a download of this edit? I am prepared to do just about anything for one...I am hoping a polite 'please' will do though!
