Mathieu Carmona was born in 1988 and grew up in Lyon, France.
In October 2010, he dashes into electronic music under the nickname "Freaky Bass".

The many successful podcast released by Freaky Bass on the Internet caught the eye of Philippe Jeanmaire, director of the Moa Club in Geneva.

Convinced by Freaky Bass’s project, Philippe granted him the possibility to express himself on stage during a prestigious event organized on March 26th 2011 where Freaky Bass had the honor to perform right after one of the pioneers in the business: DJ Hardwell.
Along with Mc Ambush (Mc from Chuckie, Afrojack, R3hab, & Sidney Samson, etc.), Freaky Bass had a more than spectacular entry into the big league.

He confirmed his newfound success on April 15th at the Sound Factory in Lyon during the ‹‹ All The Night ›› party alongside the one and only Mc Ambush.
He once again raised the bar very high as this was a very successful evening because of the originality in his set and charisma on stage.

Since, Freaky Bass is supported by many international artists such as Lil Jon, Joachim Garraud, R3hab, MC Ambush, Zawdi MC, Artistic Raw, Carlos Barbosa, Ziggy Stardust, DJ BL3ND, Phonk d'or, Bisbetic and many more !

2012 may be the consecration year for him as he prepares some big surprises…
