Franklin Voorneman (21) known as Frankie Moriello started djing about one and a half years ago, getting his influences and inspirations by several artists through all electronic music genres, e.g. Alesso, Swedish House Mafia artists, Tiesto, Thomas Gold and his idols Norman Doray and the dj duo Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano.
Starting off playing the piano at the age of 14 years, Frankie Moriello made his first experiences at young age and quickly found his passion for strong melodies, punchy drums, heavy basslines and the power and energy of the atmosphere music is able to create.
Soon Frankie Moriello made his first experiences with electronic dance music by his father showing him his 90's House and Mellow collection.
Under influence of classic, jazz, pop and electronic dance music, the todays 21year old dutchman, currently living in Frankfurt, started creating and building up his own vision of electronic dance music by teaching himself the art of djing at his own cellar.
Soon Frankie Moriello recognized his talents and addiction to electronic dance music which made him progress very fast and helped him getting into dj business.
After a short time Frankie Moriello proofed as a dj and quickly made himself a popular address in the local club scene with the abilities to read a crowd and taking partypeople to higher levels on the dancefloors.
His mix of tech and funky house, combined with the influence from his homeland: dutch house, as well as his favourite styles, progressive and electro house, portrais Frankie Moriello as a multivaried artist and talented newcomer dj.
At the moment Frankie Moriello is getting into producing and creating mash-ups, bootlegs and edits and is also working on his first releases.
"Soon I want to progress and build up the name Frankie Moriello as a unique multivaried dj and producer but especially as a creative entertainer", says Frankie Moriello about his ambitions and shows off his will to find himself a way in the electronic dance music scene.
His work quickly got recognized and supported by many popular artists as Carlo Astuti (US / No.1 Beatport 'If I Would' / Dim Mak Records) and Matt Samuels (Toolroom Records) which underlined the quality of his work.
In 2013 Frankie Moriello wants to present his first releases and take the next steps!
