THE FAKIR (FREE DIGITAL NU-JAZZ)
A stage name tailored for Franck Dadure,
French musician-producer ranging from sweet madness to
brillant inspiration. Under the a.k.a « The Fakir » Franck play
a tonic and unusual music based on electrified Turkish clarinet,
homemade theremin-Eiffel-Tower & senza-fuzz. Sophisticated grooves,
orientalized melodies, sound effects and digitalized recordfields, free and
creative improvisations which are reminiscent of a certain Burnt Friedman.
From the strange atomic landscape of La Hague (France) until the
mysterious depths of the Sultanahmet Cistern in Istanbul, a journey full of
surprises through unexpected soundscapes and incandescent rhythms.
A very good work, that devotes a rare ability to combine
sound exploration and musical accessibility.
