Fractal Dimension is producing various kinds of electronic dance music, ranging from trance to happy hardcore, and from breakbeat to drum & bass.
His happy hardcore track "With Your Love" — co-written with Mini Lynny — has been published on Protonic's Digital Resolution netlabel (http://www.imodownload.com/track/16050). Other tunes are freely downloadable from SoundCloud, and also promoted by Free Trax Records (http://freetraxrecords.blogspot.com).
His current music production setup is purely software based, centered around Ableton Live 7 with a couple of additional plug-ins, like LennarDigital Sylenth1, Cakewalk Rapture, D16 Phoscyon and Izotope Ozone 4.
Cool gated pad!
Crazy synth riff, sounds like something from Prodigy's Music for the Jilted Generation.
@Bass Reflections: Agree, loving that dubstep style bassline.
Been looking for this mix for years now, thanks for uploading.
Nice track selection, I especially like the first one. I will use this mix as a go-to example for why I mostly prefer UK trance over German trance... :)
I'm not familiar with the original, but I like the slightly gloomy mood of this remix. Great soundtrack for an autumn walk.
Love the bubbly arp line.
Classic tunes, thanks for sharing!
@E-Vibe: Yeah, good transitions are often underrated. This one certainly works... :)
Nice piano chords.
I like the way the new strings come in, very dramatic, for lack of a better word. :)
Not exactly my style, but I recognize a good track when I hear one... :)
I got so used to only hearing cheesy and downright bad Hungarian pop music, that I was really surprised when I heard this song... Too bad it's not downloadable anymore, I would put in on my iPod in a heartbeat.
Great song, indeed a good balance between aggressive and melodic (instrumental songs of NIN come to mind).
Liking the rhythmic blips.
Loving the bass, deep and nasty. :)
This change is a bit too unexpected for my taste, you might want to come up with a smoother transition.
Another great track coming up.
Haaardcoooore! :) What's this tune?
@morse: Ooooh, yes, indeed! :) Massive drop.
Love it when the bass comes in here, makes you anticipate something heavy coming up... :)
@raytrace: Thanks, glad you like it! I like the 303 line the most, but was never really happy with the bassline. Good to know that others like it though. :)
@Generic-Bass: Seems like people really dig this bassline, I got a couple of similar responses from others as well... :)
OMG, sick bassline!
I like the way the various basslines (three?) complement each other.
Love this oldschool synth stab! Brings back memories... :)
Great oldskool pad sound, love it!
Good to see someone else publishing hardcore tracks around here, too... :)
@Geek-Revolt: This is a heavily tweaked preset from Cakewalk Rapture. The filtered bassline, which comes in later is the very same sound, but the cutoff is automated.
That's a sick bassline.
@Blotto: Umm... very. :)
Now _that_ is a proper bassline. :)
This female vox sound gave me the chills...
@geek-revolt: Thanks for sharing the details! I figured there was some bit reduction going on in there... :)
I like how you're using her breath noise as part of the track.
Love this swelling FX.
@icaro-ferre: Thanks, glad you like it! Vocals and some of the music are by my girlfriend (a.k.a. Lynny), I just polished it a bit.
