For many years, two friends, both passionate music lovers with a depth of experience and knowledge held a number of conversations about doing "something musically" together. This began as a discussion on music production, extended into DJing together at the Ministry of Sound, and evolved into the present day and the creation of one of the UK's hottest new underground House labels in the business; Form & Function was born.

Form & Function is run by Wez Saunders & Mark EC. Wez is best known as the label manager of Endemic Digital Inc & Influential House, touring the UK as a DJ with the Endemic brand across a number of superclubs and underground promotions. Mark EC has graced the decks across the clubs and the airwaves that form the very basis of the London scene. Mark has held various residencies at The Aquarium, Legends and the Glasshouse as well as guest slots for prestigeous promotions and Pirate stations. Mark was a regular on the line-up in the early days of what has now become the Kinky Malinki empire. With a keen ear to the underground Mark has played more recently in Denmark through his involvement with DV FM and also has played in the US over the last 3 summers seasons.

Where Wez has the experience with the artists, the markets & label management, Mark has the ears of a music-guru whose knowledge of House music is up there with the most experienced industry bods. Where Wez has developed his experiences through Global Underground-esque Deep-through-Progressive House, Mark has been tearing up dancefloors with heavy hitters inspired by NY Dubs and vocal led tracks from the likes of MAW, MK, Grant Nelson, Todd Edwards and Smack Music. Where Wez is a typical techno-freak, using the latest technologies and software in his DJ sets & music production, Mark has mastered the art of the analogue, and would still rather use a set of 1210's but will settle with 3-CDJ's for his DJ sets, manually cutting acappellas across his mixes. Yet somehow, after years of being so very far apart, their musical tastes have met in the middle.

Form & Function prides itself on providing quality, yet underground house music that will be desired by the-soul-wanting through to underground deep & tech DJ's looking to add that "groove" to their sets. Blending the 21st century Tech House with Disco-infused, Deep House grooves, the label instantly attracted attention from some of the industries finest, ranging from Maceo Plex, Seth Troxler, Richie Hawtin, Luciano and Agoria, through to Grant Nelson, Andy Ward and to the likes of Moodymanc & Konrad Black. Brandon Block has already referred to it's early release schedule as "classy music", and SOS' Demi as "tense, with good energy". One of the labels biggest supporters to date, jozif, debuted James Silk's "Turning Over" at the rebirth of John Digweed's Bedrock night in London in February 2012, and followed it up in Madrid cementing it's place in his record box saying that "the dancefloor loves it".
