Forever the Day is a rock pop group that was formed in 2010, and is based in Los Angeles. The band was formed in the way that many acts do: lead singer Johnny Pacar and drummer Jason Ywahu parted ways with their previous band and were eager to create something new and fresh. The band members include guitarist/vocalist Pacar, drummer/programmer Ywahu, keyboardist Cody Longo and lead guitarist Adam Jensen.
While the group began preproduction on new material, Pacar (who is also an actor) brought friend and former Make It or Break It cast mate Cody Longo to fill in on keys. Shortly after the band recorded their first EP, “Under the Afterglow,” Adam Jensen joined the band on lead guitar.
Through the power of social media, the band has fans following their music from all over the world. Fans of Pacar and Longo’s acting credits have also brought in a strong fan base of loyal followers.
Forever the Day released “Under the Afterglow” on August 16, 2010. In January 2011, it was announced that Forever the Day’s single, “Forever the Day,” will be featured in the upcoming film Playback, starring Christian Slater and Pacar. The band continues to play shows in Los Angeles and plans to start touring the Western Unites States in the upcoming year.
