FlyBoy Da Great, born Mykhal Henderson, grew up in Long Island, New York (South Huntington). He grew up in the life of music due to his father being a DJ, Mister Hollywood, in the 80s to early 90s. With dreams of being a basketball star, music was put on the back-burner until he turned 15 and was kicked out of high school. Refusing to be a statistic, Mykhal put all he had in music, rapping everywhere, sometimes nonstop. He really started taking it serious when people started applauding his efforts. By the age of 20 he had his mind set and his brand ready and at age 24, he was ready to have everyone wanting to be in the "Flyy World." His favorite artists are 2Pac, Biggie, Jay-Z, Rakim, Nas, Andre 3000, UGK, Scarface, 8Ball & MJG, and AZ. FlyBoy Da Great wants to be the best at everything he does and was quoted saying "my work ethic won't let me be nothing less." Although he said it would be nice to be the best, he just wants to be known as an artist who provided something worthwhile to your ears.
