The DJ and producer known by the 'EffJay' pseudonym was born on a spring day of '78 in the city of Patras located at the Southwest region of Greece.

Coming from a healthy and quite ranging black music background of his childhood years (such as the Jacksons, Prince, Run DMC, LL Cool J, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Monie Love, Arrested Development, Ice T, Public Enemy and so forth) it was only natural to embrace and follow the underground House movement exploding in Europe in the 90s.

After moving and living in the UK for almost 5 years, his close contact with the House music scene of Britain made him completely sink into the deep and soulful ('Garage' at the time) sounds of House of the mid 90s.
The legendary productions and remixes by MAW, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez, DJ Sneak, Clivilles & Cole, Jazz N' Groove, CJ Mackintosh, MK, Tony Humphries, Heller & Farley, Joey Negro, Frankie Knuckles & the infamous David Morales amongst many others, completely shaped his fundamental inspirational roots preserving his music strictly House for almost 20 years.

A relatively long course on radio broadcast business & professional DJing since 1993,
as a club DJ, radio producer & sound engineer, led to his 8-year collaboration with Patras' groundbreaking and highly successful MOJOradio in early 2002.
Supporting healthy House music on his weekend-specialist radio shows was the main goal which was soldified with the extensive 5-year collaboration with Mark Stone's infamous UDMShow.
The partnership, initialized in September 2004, was a combination of radio-hosting and promoting the worldwide spread mixshow, all over the South-Western region of Greece.
On top of that, EffJay has been sharing the decks with international names such as Franck Roger, GummiHz, Rafael Moraes and DeanJay Tempo.

In 2006, he met good friend, partner and established producer Phaze Dee (of
Kuningas fame) who encouraged him moving into production.
Three years later they are both joined by the upcoming young producer Dimkal and all three of them collaborate in making music.
The year of 2011 is graced with 'Back 2 School' EP on Music Plan Tracks, a very successful joint project between
Phaze Dee, EffJay and Dimkal reaching the number 20 spot of the Top Singles and Soulful House charts in Traxsource.
Once again, EffJay joined forces with Dimkal for 'Jus wanna Tell U' EP, released on NightChild Records in the end of 2012.
There is no doubt, the near future holds even more collaborations with Phaze Dee and Dimkal as well as EffJay's individual
productions aiming always to the dancefloors across the world.
