Fizzix is the scientific study of both Drum and Bass and how they interact with each other. This energy can take the form of Loud Bass, Broken Beats, Electric Vibes, Musical Radiation, Gravitational Energy and pure force. Fizzix deals with matter on scales ranging from Bass-sub-atomic particles, to funk fuelled ghetto crunk, from deep dark space wobble and onward to the future of jungle music. Fizzix will get you hyped with his energetic style of experimental Drum and Bass, Jungle, Hip Hop, Dubstep & Breaks.

Fizzix has quickly become a recognized force within the underground community in Edmonton, Alberta. This talented young DJ has exploded into full on Broken-Beat position. Various crews, promoters and DJ's around the city of Edmonton have guided him on this scientific journey and he considers them not only to be his friends but his mentors as well.

At the tender age of only 10 Fizzix bought his first ELECTRONIC album ~ The Prodigy "fat of the land" ~ And it changed his life. Nothing was ever the same again for young Fizzix, after hearing tracks like "Diesel Power" "Breathe" and "Fuel My Fire".

In 2007, 2 very influential albums were handed to him that reminded him of exactly why he loved huge bass lines and massive broken beats... Pendulum's "Hold Your Color" & RAM collective “Andy C presents The Ram Raiders”. This was pretty much the jump off point for Fizzix. He knew right then and there that this was his sound. It took him back to the days of walking to school as a kid, banging his copy of "Fat of The Land", riding the cosmic groove.

That brings us to the present... right here right now!! Fizzix has been throwing down in and around the various hot spots, for just about every major crew in the city, for the past 5 years. He’s had guest spots at just about every local venue, as well as most recently holding down a bi-weekly residency with the infamous Jungle Fever Saturdays’ crew.

Fizzix is all business. Melding music is an art form, one of which works best under a clear head. The feelings he experiences when his tracks are slamming in are far more euphoric than any mind altering substance known to man.

Fizzix has also been lucky enough to be a part of some massively huge shows as of late, and had the luxury of performing with some international legends including:

So why choose Drum and Bass? Simply, because it personally spoke to him. He also found that at the time, there really were not a lot of Dj's out there that solidly committed themselves to the genre. As selfish as it may seem, Fizzix not only wanted a sound he could call his own, he wanted a sound he could make his own.

And now, as the days move on, and he evolves as a DJ, he constantly finds himself looking for new challenges. No longer is he just the Fizzix of DNB, but of all things broken beat!! From HIP HOP to BREAKS to DUBSTEP to DRUM & BASS and back again...
