splash sound? ok YEAH! now there is a case where you could make the whole thing shut down and go to a hokey fake splash sound effect - "kersploosh" - then bring it back in with a fury for the finish.

maybe let that crowd cheer fade for just a micro second as you go into the re-start? it feels a little abrupt there.
