I opened - for the first time - the 'orchestra' set-up on Logic Pro's composer pre-sets about ten minutes ago and, in my excitement about its possibilities, rattled this out and uploaded it here to illustrate before heading off to work. I recorded this after learning how to negotiate the interface and read the manual a bit... The first swooping chord sound is from a Kaossilator and was made up live on the balcony as per the video. The television dialogue (haven't a clue what they were saying: it was a current affairs programme) was recorded in the room behind, then the strings and a couple of other bits were added lat... Played 'live' moments after installing the 'solo strings' multisample set from Vienna Instruments. I'm using soundcloud here as a quick way of illustrating a point on a forum... just like nowadays (I work as an architect) I like to draw as I'm describing an idea to someone.
