Playing dance oriented music with the rhythmic phrasing of indie pop, fickle friends emerged from the Brighton music scene in early 2012.
Their pleasing mix of jaunty guitar and heavy synth are reminiscent of 80's pop whilst the fluctuating bass lines and dynamic drum work are similar to that of friendly fires. This fusion is led by vocals combining elements of commercial R&B, pop and the belting power of Motown, which makes this bands music unique and instantly recognisable.
This five piece draw influences from artists such as SBTRKT, Little Dragon and Bombay Bicycle Club, fusing electronic and indie and making their music commercially appealing and as good on record as it is live.
