Hailing from the Midlands, and at the age of 28, Epico has been producing electronic music for little over 10 years.

Formerly in hip-hop duo Eight Pence Chains (whose debut / final album 'Music is Matter' received numerous 10/10 reviews from online magazines and reviewers the world over) before tackling the world as a solo artist. Although an avid producer from 2001, it was a recent switch to Bristol back in 2008 which saw this production turn from a simple part time hobby into a passion.

Never afraid to switch things up and explore a new genre, you'll find the Epico back-catalogue contains everything from hip hop, drum and bass and dubstep to house, ambient and downtempo music. It's also this varied approach to production, tied in with a similar approach to DJing, that has landed him many gigs at some of the UK's best club nights in the best-known clubs - as well as achieving an increasing level of track support from DJ's, globally.
