Felix Baumgartner began his career in dance music as a DJ in London, developing his production skills as he went along. Over the last 3 or 4 years, Felix has been the DJ and producer behind some of the biggest house tracks in clubland. His breakthrough smash "Now You're Gone" was one of the biggest house tracks of 2009, and since then he has continued to have hit after hit on labels such as Defected, Subliminal, Toolroom, 303 Lovers, and Destined Records; working with some of the biggest dance artists in the world including Lutzenkirchen, Stafford Brothers, Juan Kidd, and Mark Knight has meant that Felix has consistently been at the top of the Beatport charts.
Starting his own label, Refrakt, Felix released the tech-house monster "The Tunnel", and is looking to push the label profile throughout 2011. A new partnership with one of the biggest house labels in the world is on the cards for next year, and Felix has loads of tracks ready to take on the biggest dance floors in the world.
Having put in so much studio time over the last few years, Felix is now looking to get back to his first love, DJing. Headlining some of the biggest nights in the UK during 2010 has given him the momentum to continue through to 2011 and make this his biggest year to date.
