This dynamic duo continues to blast the masses worldwide both in the studio and on stage, covering everything from Hip-Hop, Breaks, Electro, Dubstep and Drum n Bass complete with live 4 turntable DJ trick sets scratched to perfection. Ranked as one of the top turntablists in the world by SPIN, Faust released the first turntablist album in history, the critically lauded Man Or Myth and continues to push the boundaries of his production today in various genres. URB's Next 100, Playboy Tour scratch diva and Fever/Buzz Battle of the DJs Champion, Shortee is acknowledged as one of the most diverse, technically skilled female DJs in the world and has been named “Queen of the Scratch World” by DJ Times. She produced the 1st and only turntablist album by a female, her own DJ instructional DVD series and the 1st female-centric battle record “Bikini Wax” (5 Star Records). Together their solo and team albums have earned them critical acclaim in major publications like Muzik, SPIN, URB, Remix, Knowledge, ATM, DJ Times, Rolling Stone etc., and their music is featured on MTV, NBC, CNN and ESPN.
Constantly in the lab working on an arsenal of dance floor bangers, they've launched two labels of their own: Heavy Artillery Recordings (Drum and Bass/Breaks/House/Dubstep/Drumstep) and 5 Star Records (Hip Hop/Battle/DJ Tools). Faust and Shortee also produce drum and bass and Dubstep under the name Urban Assault and their tunes are consistently ranked high on the charts. Their ambitious schedule shows no signs of letting up as they continue to push the label towards new heights, opening the label doors to new creative artists bringing the noise straight to you!

Succeeding where others failed, these albums give their respected DJs the breadth and depth to take you deep inside the turns and twists of their own minds”
"Urban Assault has blown apart the myth that, in order to be a successful artist in the field of drum n bass, you have to ply your trade in that respective industry only. Creatively, versatility appears to be the name of the game as far as Faust and Shortee are concerned. This male/female combination of performers is far from a gimmick – they're renowned as some of the most talented in the industry, having paid their dues and then some.”
