Perverse - Marianas [FKOF free download]

Korrupt 's review of Perverse 's 'Marianas':
"The deep and distorted pads in the background of ‘Marianas’ contain some quite interesting resonance – with frequencies flying through a well chosen spectrum. You’re immediately confronted with a crisp hi-hat and this organic snare that flows up top nicely through the implementation of a reverb effect. The kick involved sounds poppy, giving the other key elements in the track some space. The pads transform nicely and more emotive transformations fade in and out, and are combined with amazing piano key patterns.

"The drop is harsh, it’s impressive how you hear the stabs come alive right before the drop, coming in as a repeating element in the mix with a beautiful delay (which adds more flow and deepness to the mix) – most definitely on point. The low-end is weighty, with some low-pressured frequencies hitting the brain hard – interesting control and raw patterns. The rather short break is well chosen, it’s great how you get sucked into the second drop almost immediately.
"Percussion is on point, changing directions after a certain while (especially after the break) with new elements involved – some of them fading in and out, while others become one with the pads in the background of the mix. New drum patterns arise and continue to take over this dangerous mix flowing all the way to the last seconds of the track, with a nice and abrupt end.

"An interesting first track to begin this first volume with, expect the unexpected!”
