Korrupt 's review of Eerie & Yikes' 'Trench Code':
“There’s a resonance within the intro created by the baselines used, with a nice melody coming off the synth – that really captures the listener’s attention. The rolling baseline just before the drop adds a lot to the climax created; the spacious sounds come from the implementation of quality samples.
“The first drop is heavy and comes into the mix with a lot of ‘style’. The low-and mid-end are positioned nicely and work together forming a solid wall of warm baseline frequencies. The drum patterns sound great, the percussive elements sound clear and follow through nicely within the mix. The reverb applied on the snare adds depth, as do the different type of delays on the different layers – impressive. It’s amazing how the lead synth comes back into the mix to form a solid break, building up to the second drop.
“The second drop follows through quickly, finishing the track off with some quality balanced elements – a contagious vibe!”
