Korrupt 's review of Deity. 's 'Ether Feast':
“As the track opens, the listener is confronted with some serious sample implementation, with ‘Ether Feast’ sounding very organic. The samples add an amazing amount of depth, heading deep into a captivating tribal experience. Deity chose a nice up-tempo rhythm for the tune, setting the pace with fresh drum patterns and other percussive elements. The track builds up towards the first drop with a wise use of samples, with drum patterns fading out before the actual drop.
“The drop is heavy, a deep and warm low-end sets in with some great tribal percussion up top, all nicely balanced out making it a great tune. The eastern vibe through the flute used is a very contagious element and really sets the mood. There’s also a great change up in samples and drum patterns that keeps ‘Ether Feast’ fresh and intelligent!
“The flute takes the lead in the break and continues to flow along with the deep samples, building up a climax with a sudden return of elements at the second drop. The drum patterns and percussion re-appear to form one intense and solid end. Deity shows that he’s capable of producing next-level tribal bass music with a solid low-end and mad percussion. This is definitely one for the deep heads – keep an eye on this man and his label Mu Djina with Camu!”
