Korrupt 's review of Dcult 's 'A Choice Was Made':
"Sick layered padding, loving that evil background sample – which sounds like a strange organism evolving. Those highly emotive pads (in combination with those short choir samples) really set the mood and add a lot to the build-up of the track – crazy delay right before the drop.
"The drop is out of control, the kick is powerful and that layered snare sounds pretty sick. The low-end is deep and low the way it has to be done – vibing below the surface like the way it should. Really impressed with the minimal percussion! Can’t get the evil wobbly growl out of my head, simply murky. Loving the break, with those strange samples and those emotive pads re-appearing which build-up towards the second drop.
"The second drop is huge as well, great progression in the track and I'm liking the fact that DCult hasn’t used too many variations in the basslines. Nice way of letting the growls disappear and let them come back later with some nice percussion to finish it all off. This track is pretty FKOFing special, a feeling I can’t describe really, definitely got DCults’ signature all over it. Make sure to check out the other tracks in the MIG x FKOF EP as well!"
