The amusingly titled 'Radio Edit' of the 32-minute 'Haidd' EP (which is just one track), first released in 2006 on the now sadly defunct Barl Fire records. This radio edit is quite a bit shorter, and misses out the Crumhorn intro (and a lot of other bits) 'Haidd' is Welsh for 'Barley', and...Icy Solstice Eye (2007) Uploaded by Far Black Furlong Start following on August 17, 2009 23:17
The 'Remixed' version of the track from our debit Hand/Eye release, this first appeared on the 'John Barleycorn Reborn' double CD compilation on Cold Spring.

Far+Black+Furlong
Far Black Furlong make experimental, ambient music that also draws on Folk, Drones, Classical and Electronica. Their music is based on live improvisation that is later edited and treated, and otherwise mangled.
The core of the band is Mark Baigent (woodwinds), Andy Cotterill (electronica, treatments, ebow guitar), Richard Moult (Piano, guitar) & Ian Tengwall (guitar).
Guest musicians include Bryony Lees (Poetry), Anne Marie Summers (Hurdy-Gurdy, Horn Trumpet, Shawm & Welsh Harp), Amanda Votta (Flute) & John Letcher (Hammered Dulcimer).
