Toronto’s Jordan Holman and Mark LeRoy had no intention of forming VAS VEGA when they first met at church. “Jack White says it best, ‘All the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.’ Basically, we decided joining forces seemed a better option than competing in the same playground,” says LeRoy. Consumed by perilous romances, disturbed desires, hopes and fears, Holman and LeRoy began to feed their mutual addiction for writing lush music that mocks genres, and in 2010, VAS VEGA was born.
