Fabio Genito is considered one of the best italian dj/producers and the most respected upcoming talent of the musical scene.
He has been djing since 20 years so far and he plays piano ,drums, percussions and sings since he was a baby as well.
His sets are very hard to label because of his eclectic style, his accurate technical skills and his background, creating a unique imprint full of elegance, power but most of all dominated by rhythm.
He started producing music early 90's with almost 30 records done so far, under various aka's such as "Jazzaffair Collective".
Early 2007 he was discovered by the legendary LOUIE VEGA (Masters At Work, Nuyorican Soul, Elements of Life, Grammy Award Winner) who wanted him as a new Vega Records recording artist and his debut release on Vega Records was "Undefined Feeling" , a slammin deep/afro hit which got great feedbacks, kind words and support from the best dj/producers and media all over the world, followed by the second single called LIMONCELLO EP .
One of the EP's tracks titled "Secret Recipe" has been the most played tune at the WMC 2009 in Miami Beach by people like Louie Vega (memorable time when he played it at SoulHeaven Pool Party @ Fontainebleu w/ Lil Louis), Marques Wyatt, Rocco Rodaamal, Carlos Mena (Ocha Records) , Anane , Mr V, Djinji Brown (Yoruba Records) and others.
He also collaborated, produced and played for radios and media worldwide such as Louie Vega's own "DANCE RITUAL" , for infamous ITALIA NETWORK / INMYRADIO.NET (actually one of its main broadcasters), for RMC/Radio Montecarlo Network, for brands like Hydrogen, Franklin & Marshall ,Maserati, Nonsolomoda (infamous italian tv mag which used his songs for DOLCE&GABBANA), Ibiza Global Radio , Axiom Studios NY, Push Fm London, SS Radio Uk, Groove Parlor Chicago, Cyberjamz.com, Fg Dj Radio France, Blow Up Magazine, Trend Magazine ,Il Mattino, Discoid , Discomix.it, House Machine, RIN, Radio Company just to name a few.
In 2008 he produces the deep house hit "PAPAWENDA" , a dedication to the pureness of the nature with ancenstral deep rhythms , already supported by the best dj producers in the world, released by DSOH - DEEPER SHADES RECORDINGS , the LARS BEHRENROTH's label based in Los Angeles (USA).
Fabio has recently been nominated ARTIST OF THE MONTH in JAPAN , rated by the top Japanese Deep House webmagazine www.deephouse.jp
He has also recently been rated by the top italian music magazine "Blow Up", as one of the best italian dj/producers and as one of the few "italian musical ambassadors in the world", alongside of Pasta Boys and others.
In 2009 he joins the GOTSOUL RECORDINGS family , the infamous JOJOFLORES' own label, producing the massive single titled "BURNING MAN EP" after the amazing experience of the Burning Man in the Nevada desert .
He has been recently touring different countries of the world such as Hawaii (Usa) where he hitted infamous clubs such as the Lotus Sound Bar in Honolulu and the Casanova in Maui , just to name a few.
WMC'09 brings Fabio back in Miami Beach playing in big parties and venues such as the memorable VEGA RECORDS "GET TOGETHER" Party at Yuca Lounge together with Louie Vega,Anane,Lou Gorbea, Boddhi Satva,Duce Martinez and Antonello Coghe.
He is working on some cool upcoming projects such as his own radio format called "meDEEPerranea" produced by ITALIANETWORK/INMYRADIO.net, the third release for Vega titled "MARENOSTRUM EP" (out September 2009), Caravan "The Promise" (FABIO GENITO REMIXES) soon on Phase Deux Musique (Erick Kupper, Richie Jones [producer of the worldwide hit "Waiting For Tonight" for JENNIFER LOPEZ] and Franck Adam's new label) , and very soon his own Album featuring world reknowned artists, just to name a few.
September 2009 is also the date of release of "LOUIE VEGA'S DANCE RITUAL VOL.1" , triple cd compilation which includes Fabio's hit "Secret Recipe" (from the LIMONCELLO EP) , selected,mixed and produced by Little Louie Vega for D:VISION Records.
